Skin Hunger - Kathleen Huey - 1st in trilogy A Resurrection of Magic

 This book is sooooo good. Honestly I was not expecting to like this book as much as I did. I just happened across it in the library. Yes, I know its huge, but wow. I am so glad its big because I didn't want it to end.

 When it did end I got my hands on the second one as quick as I could (Scared Scars)
